Directions

This is a lovely park near the entrance of Little Cottonwood Canyon. The meet starting point will be the parking lot directly West and North of the intersection of Dimple Dell and Lostwood (2880 East) Roads.  Click the map below for a link to a dropped pin.

Registration is at the Horseman’s parking lot on Dimple Dell Rd. Bathrooms are open.

All punching will be electronic.  E-punch will provide a printout of your times at each control. There will also be a demo “Trail O” (see description of this format the “new to orienteering” section of our home page) course set up.

Pre-Registration To ease day of registration, please email Bob (rwhorient@gmail.com) if you are planning to attend. All O-Utah members with a SI-Card are automatically pre-registered.  You may change your course at check-in if you are signed up for the wrong one. All ordered cards have arrived and are in the software system. Please plan to pay for and pickup your cards at the event.

The electronic punching and trail O will require extra help at registration. So, please volunteer and email Bob ahead. Everyone will get the chance to run.

Brown- advanced    4.4 km

Orange- intermediate    3.4 Km

Yellow- beginner     2.5 Km
